AP DEECET 2024 – Exam Date, Registration Details
AP DEECET 2024 will take place on 12th and 13th June 2024. The registration and application process will begin in the month of May 2024. The AP DEECET (Andhra Pradesh Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test) is an entrance exam conducted for admission to the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. Ed) program in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The purpose of AP DEECET is to select candidates for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program. This program is designed for an individual aspiring to become teachers for classes I to VIII in schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The exam is designed to assess the candidates’ knowledge in areas such as general knowledge, teaching aptitude, and the medium of instruction (Telugu/English/Urdu). The test aims to evaluate the candidates’ knowledge, skills, and aptitude necessary for teaching at the elementary level.

AP DEECET 2024 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates appearing for AP DEECET 2024 are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria that are listed below.
1.Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
2.Candidates are required to provide with local or non-local status within the state of Andhra Pradesh.
3.Candidates from OC and BC communities are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in DEECET rank 4.while candidates from SC/ ST categories should have 45%.
5.Candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories under the Sports/ OC/ NCC categories are required to have a 6.minimum aggregate of 50% in DEECET rank.
7.Candidates from OC and BC communities are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in succeeding 8.exams while candidates from SC/ ST categories should have 45%.
9.Candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories under the Sports/ OC/ NCC categories are required to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in succeeding exams.
AP DEECET 2024 – Registration/Application Process
The registration and application process started on the May 2024. The process is done through online mode.
Step – 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website – www.apdeecet.apcfss.in to begin the registration and application process.
Step – 2: Candidates are then required to register themselves online through the website portal and follow the steps. After registration is done, candidates are then required to fill in the application form.
Step – 3: In the final step, candidates are then required to make the payment for the application form through online mode only.
